Superior Active Tracking

Active optical tracking systems are the most precise, reliable and cost effective solution for tracking of instruments used in critical applications such as Image Guided surgery (IGS). Using proven linear CCD technology, proprietary calibration techniques and image processing technology the easyTrack family offers flexible and highly accurate active tracking.

The easyTrack senses the three-dimensional location of the infrared LED markers and quickly transmits the data directly to the host computer (PC or laptop) via a USB link. No special cards, strober boxes or expensive cables are needed.

Atracsys breaks the cost-performance barrier with the development of the easyTrack 200 and 500 precision tracking systems, bringing researchers highest accuracy active optical tracking at a truly affordable price. And, with Atracsys active tracking systems there are no expensive consumables to worry about.

Designed to meet Research Needs

The easyTrack models were designed by experts who understand the needs and constraints of the research community. No complicated development kits need to be purchased where you will spend hours trying to figure out how to integrate your ideas into their system. Open source software and drivers on all the main platforms are provided at no additional cost. They allow you to easily integrate the easyTrack into you project. The API for MATLAB and high level languages (i.e. Java, C#) is directly integrated in the SDK. Both regular and autoclavable markers are available.

Moving locations is easy

Moving your work between a PC and laptop for presentations is a snap with the plug &play USB connection. No need to carry around complicated marker calibration kits; just put your easyTrack and the markers in the convenient carrying case and off you go. EasyTrack active markers are preprogrammed and are immediately recognized by the system each time they are plugged in.

Two sizes cover most Applications

Designed to be used close to the tracking site, easyTrack optimizes the working volume vs. precision equation. The easyTrack family comes in two convenient sizes, the easyTrack 200 and the easyTrack 500 , that cover most working volumes for IGS.
