Summary
Both our hardware have been used: the atracTable to give more information and encourage up-selling and the beMerlin to help the visitors find the location of a product in the shop.
The case
Sephora is the leading chain of perfume and cosmetics stores in France. For their 40 years anniversary, they wanted to show what the trends for the future of shopping are. We developed two cutting edge applications presenting different new concepts of shopping on both of our hardware, the beMerlin and the atracTable.
The solution
On the atracTable, the goal of the application was to give more information about a product laid on the surface (characteristics, colors, location in the shop, how to use it...) and to encourage up-selling by displaying related products (video). Customers could directly see what products were associated and see where it was located in the shop.
On the beMerlin, we developed an interface to help people find a product in the shop in an interactive way.
The result
Our solutions have been really appreciated by customers and the board of directors. They directly understood the added value of using such systems in retail stores. The press was also very impressed and excited.
